Yahoo! News reported the washing up of a 8-foot-tall Lego man on a Florida beach. The Lego figure was reported as trying to make money for his Lego family in Lego land by coming here to America. The INS has taken the Lego man captive and will deport him sometime this week. Outrage exists on both sides of the political spectrum. Liberals called for the Lego man to be let go and allowed to stay in our country. Conservatives quickly asked for the immediate deportation of the Lego man back to Lego land.
This issue comes during a time of deep immigration issues in America. Many Americans feel that too many Lego people are coming to our country and taking our jobs. President Obama has yet to face the issue of the illegal immigration, but the issue will surely be a major focus in the next election. Many feel that a wall made of LEGO blocks should be built on the boarder to stop the illegal Lego immigrants from coming into our country. Well God tells us not to oppress the widows, orphans, and aliens. By us oppressing the Lego immigrants we are breaking that commandment. Is it unholy for us to keep Lego immigrants from coming in our country? To that I say "AMEN".

World Series Episode II: Return of the Rangers
I know that there are so many more important things to blog about than sports, but I can't help but write my blog this week about the Texas Rangers. Last year, I supported my first ever MLB team in the playoffs, and that team was the Texas Rangers. I supported them through the exciting battle against the New York Yankees. I supported them in the World Series against the San Francisco Giants. However, I never thought that the very team I supported last year would do the same thing again.
I couldn't help but support the Rangers again against the Detroit Lions. Now that they are back in the World Series, whether they win or lose, the Rangers forever have my support. I know that this is the Rangers' year, and when they win the World Series, that will be the highlight of my year. God gave the Israelites a second chance when they sinned against him in the desert and allowed them to go to the Promised Land. Now God gives the Rangers a second chance at the Promised Land. Do I think that divine intervention is in play with the Rangers making it back to the World Series. To that I say, "AMEN". GO RANGERS!!!

9-9-9 Plan: Good or EVIL!!!
The republican party seems to have some new life after Herman Cain came out with his 9-9-9 plan. The plan seems pretty simple. I won't try to explain it though due to my horrible understanding of any type of finances, but even to a finance dodo like me, the 9-9-9 plan seems quite reasonable.
However, after reading a report by Yahoo! News, Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann made me think after making a joke at Tuesday debate that the 9-9-9 plan is nothing more than the mark of the beast, 666, upside down. How clever of Satan to hide his master plan of fooling so many to follow him in a replacement to the current tax code.
It would seem that the end is near and the beast has come in the form of Herman Cain. And to think, we all thought Nero was the beast, or was it Napoleon Bonaparte, maybe it was Hitler, no wait it was Ronald Wilson Reagan, but we were wrong, the beast is Herman Cain. I always knew he was trying to take the place of God, Godfather's pizza anyone. Well you won't get me Mr. Cain or should I say Satan! Is Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan the mark of the beast. I would say AMEN to that!

A Squirrel in Baseball, That's Nuts
God sent Noah a dove to tell him if the flood waters subsided, Jonah a whale to teach him a lesson, and now it would seem that he sent a squirrel to help the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Phillies. According to Yahoo! Sports News, a squirrel dashed across the field of the Phillies vs. Cardinals game. The crowd went NUTS after seeing the squirrel run across the field.
The squirrel ran on field after Roy Oswalt pitched to Skip Schumaker. The squirrel then ran into the stands to make his great escape. Was that squirrel sent from God to help the St. Louis Cardinals win? To that I say NO WAY MEN. He was just a squirrel without a nut.

The Lance Armstrong of Basketball
Most of us men would cringe at the thought of taking a knee to the groin, but that was not the case for Taylor Statham. According to Yahoo! Sports news the young basketball player was saved by a knee to the groin. After suffering from pain in his groin for a few days, Taylor went to the doctor. The doctor discovered that Taylor had a very serious form of malignant testicular cancer. It would seem that a knee to the groin was the best thing to ever hit Taylor.
God truly does work in mysterious ways. Whether it be miraculously curing a cancer patient whom doctors have given up on or helping doctors find cancer in a young unsuspecting basketball player. Now Taylor can go on as a basketball player and live strong just like Lance Armstrong. Was that knee to the groin just some coincidence or an act of God. I'll say AMEN to an act of God.

Professor Deceased
It would have seem that the University of Pennsylvania made a grave mistake. Students attending a political science classe were wondering why their professor was late for class. Well according to the story from the Associated Press, the students were notified, by email, that there professor, Henry Teune, died months earlier, five months earlier to be exact. Let's remember also that this is an Ivy League school.
What a way to keep the memory of one of your deceased workers. They keep his class going believing that he can teach from beyond the grave. Even better, they don't tell his students that he is deceased in person, no they do it by email, it takes a lot of class to do that. That's keeping the memory alive.
I also was suprised when I walked into my History 101 class thinking that Professor Deceased was going to teach me my favorite subject. I soon learned through a tweet from the university that my professor was literally deceased and not named Deceased. The fact that they informed me through a tweet took a little of the shock away. I thought to myself what a way to remember a person. When I die I want people to learn about it through a tweet. It's the memorial of the twenty-first century.
So, was the University of Pennsylvania expecting Professor Teune, God rest his soul, to teach his class from beyond the beyond? To that I say NO WAY MEN.
